The Mortgage Bankers Association today released its Weekly Mortgage Applications Survey for the week ending September 16, 2011. Mortgage applications rise a modest 0.6 percent during the week. The Mortgage Bankers Association today released its Weekly Mortgage Applications Survey for the week ending August 19, 2011.  Mortgage applications reversed course again, falling 2.4 percent during the week. Re-financing applications declined 1.7 percent after surging in the last two weeks. The Mortgage Bankers Association today released its Weekly Mortgage Applications Survey for the week ending  August 5, 2011.  Mortgage applications continue to seesaw as applications increased this week by 21.7 percent  on a seasonally adjusted basis.  This large increase in applications was driven primarily by re-financings, which were 30.4 percent during the week.   The high number of mortgage re-financings  drove the […]
