On June 29th Markit released Japan’s Manufacturing PMI and the highlights are below:
- New orders declined for the first time in six months. The rate of decline was small;
- New export orders dropped at it sharpest pace in four months;
- Manufacturing output fell slightly; despite the decline in output order backlogs continued their decline;
- Employment growth slowed to a slight rate;
- Input costs fell marginally; selling prices dropped solidly.
