Great Britain: Producer Prices Rise Slightly in November

Great Britain Office for National Statistics reported that its producer price index (PPI), or prices received by producers rose 0.2 percent during the month of November and 5.4 percent in the last 12 months.

Input prices, or prices paid for raw materials by producers rose by 0.1 percent in November after falling last month. In the last 12 months input price increases have moderated by have still increased by 13.4 percent. This lowers the profit margins of producers.
