What’s Happening Today?

Beginning at midnight, PMI reports measuring economic activity in the service sector of 12 country’s are released. The reports will end with the Institute of Supply Management Non-Mfg Index for November. Last night HSBC reported that Japan’s November PMI services index declined while the HSBC China Services PMI showed that the service sector in China is slowing but healthier than its Manufacturing Sector.   

According to The Guardian, a british daily newspaper, Iranian armed forces shot down a U.S. drone aircraft yesterday that violated Iranian airspace along its eastern border. We’ll have to see how this will impact crude oil prices.
